Save me

Open arms
Come read me like a book
I will tell you what you want to know
Tired of the endless running
Empty promises and lies that I suffocate under
I blend into the world like paint to the wall
Unnoticeable
Now I wait to be saved and to save myself
But what can I do to make you see?
That girl who dwells within, behind the mask and walls
The bare, vulnerable damaged me
What can I do to make you feel?
The anguish, inner conflict and sadness is indescribable
My own body a visual representation of how I once was,
And the anger towards what I’m supposed to be

So see me,
Hear me,
Watch me,
Question me
It’s only a matter of time
